The Rivulettes are very proud to announce that two of their players have made a commitment to Saint Mary's University of the CIS.
Bea Harrietha (96, LD) and Hannah Askin (96, RD) are both 2nd year players with the Rivulettes and they have made the decision to continue their hockey careers and start their university education with the highly acclaimed Halifax school commencing in September of 2014.
Harrietha, from Puslinch ON, played her minor hockey with the Guelph Girls Association. She is a very athletic player who skates exceptionally well. She makes a great first pass and possesses a very heavy shot.
Askin, who hails from Waterloo ON, is a product of the Waterloo Ravens program, also possess a great shot from the point. She has a very high compete level and makes life difficult for opponents in the Rivulette defensive zone.
The Huskies are not only getting great hockey players but even more importantly they are bringing in terrific people who will be a tremendous credit to their team and to their school.
The Rivulettes are proud of their accomplishments and wish them well in their final PWHL season!
