Throughout the course of the season, PWHL Coaches, and their staff, put in tireless hours of dedication with their teams both on and off the ice. These coaches teach not only Hockey skills, but Life skills to prepare their girls for the next step in their careers, being not only Great Players, but Great Ambassadors of our beloved game of hockey.
This year’s PWHL Coach of the Year recipient and his staff of Kelly Potocky, Rob Stewart, Jenni Bauer, Lacey Scott and Ron Haddaway, had a fantastic season with their team. The Rivulettes name is one of the oldest women’s hockey teams with the 1930-40’s team having a historical winning percentage of over 95%, a record unmatched in the history of women's hockey. These current Rivulettes made their own 2017-18 year extra special with one of the best PWHL seasons in their Franchise history.
Finishing outside of the Playoffs last year, the Riv’s more than doubled their total points and jumped 13 positions, to make it to their first ever PWHL Final 4 appearance.
