We are thrilled to celebrate a landmark moment in Rivulettes history with the announcement of the very first recipients of the Little River Fund.
This new scholarship—made possible through the generosity and long‑standing support of Eric and Dennie Burak—will help Rivulettes alumni pursue their post‑secondary goals with confidence.
The Little River Fund will provide a minimum of $10,000 per year to eligible Rivulettes graduates.
We are proud to introduce the inaugural recipients:
Jade Parnell
A three‑season Riv, Jade is now working toward a Bachelor of Commerce in Sports and Event Management at the University of Guelph.
Courtney Rice
After three seasons with the Rivulettes, Courtney is continuing her hockey career at Concordia University in Montreal, where she is majoring in English and History.
Lexi Cupolo
Lexi, who also spent three seasons with the Rivs, is currently studying Concurrent Education at Queen’s University in Kingston.
Tori Verbeek
Tori played two seasons with the Rivulettes and is now completing her Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of Northampton in England.
