BioMaryn, a 6'0" defenceman from Waterloo, ON, joins Syracuse University in Fall 2026 after a strong final season with the Rivulettes U22. A 2025 high school graduate, she plays a smart, physical game and shoots left.
Known for her flexibility, Maryn brings unique off-ice talents and leadership to the ice. Her favorite artist is Drake, and when she's not training, she’s likely binge-watching Dexter. She loves Uptown Waterloo for its vibrant community and dreams of one day visiting Miami. Maryn also has a passion for football and would love to attend the Summer Olympics. Her go-to pump-up song is Throw Away by Future.
She aims to play hockey while earning her degree at Syracuse. Excited for her last minor season and the team’s golf tournament, she lives by the motto: “Hard work beats talent”—advice she passes to young athletes chasing their goals.
